Jun 23, 2023

Hello traders! As of 23 June 2023, Ninja Trader has required users to upgrade to version 8 of the platform. If you are unsure how to do this or have questions, this video will walk you through the process step-by-step!

***For those traders. that have upgraded to the latest NT8 version (V8.1.1.7) and. prefer the 8.0 version, we've got you covered in this video as well!

If you need more support or have questions about trading futures in general, send us an email at [email protected].

There are a few changes with regards to the newest version on Ninjatrader. The first noticeable change with the User Interface will be that the latest version of Ninjatrader you will be required to sign in with a Username and Password - This will of course mean having to sign up with your email address.

Besides the Username and Password there are also a few other changes with regards to altered commission rates depending on your Ninjatrader Licence. You will be able to find these changes on the Ninjatrader website.

We hope this video helps take your anxiety away by showing you how to upgrade and how to downgrade your Ninjatrader.

If for whatever reason your licence key is not pulled across to the new platform (V8.1.1.7) you will have to import this by logging onto the Ninjatrader online platform, importing the key, and then once you re-open your Ninjatrader desktop platform you should be good to go.

Futures and forex trading contains substantial risk and is not for every investor. An investor could potentially lose all or more than the initial investment. Risk capital is money that can be lost without jeopardizing ones’ financial security or lifestyle. Only risk capital should be used for trading and only those with sufficient risk capital should consider trading. This is neither a solicitation nor an offer to buy or sell futures, options or forex. CFTC Rules 4.41 - Hypothetical or Simulated performance results have certain limitations. Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent actual trading. Also, because the trades have not actually been executed, the results may have under-or-over compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity. Simulated trading programs, in general, are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profit or losses similar to those shown.
