Monday Morning Breakdown 11-22-21 Beware of the Holiday Trading Schedule This Week!

Nov 22, 2021

MAN I LOVE MONDAYS!!! For real—it is such a great time to reflect, prepare and know what exactly to expect for the week. I really do pop out of bed and can’t wait to see what the market holds!

So, for this week, I would DEFINITELY be a bit more cautious than usual. Not only do we have a U.S. holiday on Thursday, with market closing early in Friday as well—but we have FOMC on Wednesday. So all the “keep your peepers open” situations are in high effect.

Not to mention that we’re at highs that are trying to hold (but still somehow looks like it could break)—we’re going to have a lot of traders on vacation. Kids are out of school and holiday family fun (which some know as holiday family stress lol) is in full effect. This means that things can get a little whippy and erratic. So, long story short—if you don’t feel confident or you’re not seasoned to these types of situations, it might be best to just sit on the sidelines and learn from it.

Either way it goes—I’m rooting for you in your decision as I respectfully make mine and I’m thankful I get to choose to be that way! Much love good people, have a wonderful break and I can’t wait to catch up with y’all again soon!

Futures and forex trading contains substantial risk and is not for every investor. An investor could potentially lose all or more than the initial investment. Risk capital is money that can be lost without jeopardizing ones’ financial security or lifestyle. Only risk capital should be used for trading and only those with sufficient risk capital should consider trading. This is neither a solicitation nor an offer to buy or sell futures, options or forex. CFTC Rules 4.41 - Hypothetical or Simulated performance results have certain limitations. Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent actual trading. Also, because the trades have not actually been executed, the results may have under-or-over compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity. Simulated trading programs, in general, are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profit or losses similar to those shown.
