Monday Emini S&P500 Expectations with Responsible Day Trading

Mar 14, 2022

Hello and welcome to Day Light Savings in the U.S.—Well at least most of it.  Arizona and a few other areas may seem “weird” as they don’t shift when the rest of us do.. but if we’re all being honest, we with the rest of the US was just as weird.  This time change stuff is killing my circadian rhythm and its going to take me a few days to get back into the routine of things.  I’m just thanking the stars above that it happened over spring break for us this round.

Okay—and off to the market.  So we do have FOMC this week and on that day there is a TON of news coming out.  So it might not be the best day to go all in for some.  Everyone has a bit of a different style so what may be good for the goose may not be good for the gander. Make sure you are following your own set rules and don’t let the shift in the market get you in a bad position.

So what is happening with the market anyways—well overnight, we made a huge attempt to move this sucker to the upside.  It was a 50 point move that might have you believing this was going to continue up.  What it did though, was move it up to the areas of resistance on the 10946 (which was around 4240-ish at that time)—which moved it right back to the major area of support around 4200.

Now this area of support has been significant and we’ve been talking about it since about October.  It came right down to it and is currently bouncing off of it.  So next is to see which one is going to hold.  The 10946 areas of resistance to push the market down or the 4200 area of support to move this back to the upside.

Either way it goes, watching the way the MACDs react TO and AT the area will help me determine what the true move should be.  Is it a simple retracement—or will we see some serious runs happen?  Only time will tell—and as I keep my mind open to what the market gives me, I will just make sure to breathe through it and not try to force my opinions of what I think SHOULD happen, over what IS happening.  It is tough sometimes but always worth it my friends!  Much love and awesomeness today!  Let’s do this thing!
